Hello Panda Families,
As a culminating activity for Hispanic Heritage Month, Shingle Creek Elementary will celebrate Spirit Week from October 6–10. Throughout the week, students will enjoy themed dress-up days and engaging activities that honor Hispanic culture and contributions.
Please ensure that all students adhere to the OCPS Dress Code during Spirit Week.
Here’s the schedule:

• Monday – Powerful Words: Wear a shirt with a Spanish quote or a positive saying.
• Tuesday – Flag Colors Day: Wear something that represents the colors of your country’s flag.
• Wednesday – Como la Flor: Wear a flower crown or floral-patterned clothing.
• Thursday – Hispanic Heroes: Dress like a famous Hispanic person who inspires you.
• Friday – Panda Pride with Hispanic Flair: Show your Panda pride with a Hispanic twist—add a sombrero, serape, or flag to your Panda gear!
